Kevin Theuermann is working at the institute since 2016 and doing his PhD in the area of secure service composition systems for E-Government. He absolved the Bachelor study course "eHealth" at the FH Joanneum- University of Applied Sciences in 2014. Afterwards, he started the Master study course "eHealth" and "IT & Business Informatics" simultaneously and graduated to Dipl.Ing. as well as Master of Science (MSc) in 2016. In 2016 he was also doing an exchange semester abroud in Norway at the The Arctic University of Norway.

Research

In my PhD thesis I am focusing on secure service composition systems for E-Government. In this research, I aim to ensure security in cross-organizational collaborations, which represents a challenge especially because of different requirements regarding privacy and confidentiality. Besides, I am involved in many projects implemented at the E-Government Innovation Center (EGIZ), which also contributes value-added public services for citizens. Some of the example include the introduction of the new mobile phone signature and currently the implementation of the new electronic identity (E-ID).

Teaching

I am responsible for the lecture “Selected Topics IT Security 1 – E-Government” (https://teaching.iaik.tugraz.at/egov/start), which comprises an oral lecture and a practical exercise.
