Bernd Prünster is a PhD candidate working in the field of peer-to-peer and cloud security. He received his master's degree in computer science from Graz University of Technology (with distinction) in 2016 and joined IAIK in the same year. During his bachelor and master studies he was involved in EU-funded research projects at the Cognitive Science Section.

Research

My main research interest lies in security and trust management in decentralised systems in the context of peer-to-peer and cloud environments. I focus on usable security and explore ways to enhance the security properties of connected services by harnessing the joint capabilities of different device classes.

I am/was involved in the following research projects:
