Karl is a project assistant at IAIK, doing his Master at TU Graz with the focus on IT Security, and is part of the capture-the-flag (CTF) team LosFuzzys. Currently, Karl is mainly working on the performance evaluation of building blocks for multi-party computation (MPC).

  • Since May 2019 -> Contributing to the EU-project Safe-DEED, which focuses, among other things, on MPC.
  • January 2019 to April 2019 -> Erasmus+ traineeship, as part of my Master’s thesis, at the Computer Security and Industrial Cryptography group (COSIC) at KU Leuven, Belgium. Focus on creating a benchmark framework for the MPC-engine SCALE-MAMBA.
  • November 2016 to October 2018 -> Contributed to the EU-project CREDENTIAL, which focused on privacy-preserving identity and data management.
