Martin Schwarzl is a PhD student at Graz University of Technology at the CoreSec group of Daniel Gruss. Active CTF player and member of LosFuzzys. His master’s thesis is about NetSpectre (Leaking Arbitrary Memory from Remote Systems) and was supervised by Daniel Gruss and Michael Schwarz. Prior, he finished his studies in 2019 in computer science at Graz University of Technology.

Research

My research interests include local and remote microarchitectural attacks as well as defenses. I In addition, I am interested in reverse engineering and exploitation of operating systems or vulnerabilities.

I currently teach a master’s course about binary exploitation and secure coding:
